Opportunities and Challenges: Invitation to the World-class University of Science and Technology's Liberal Arts Construction Summit Forum

Dear teachers:
The development of distinctive liberal arts is of great significance to science and engineering universities. It is the only way to build a world-class university with internationalization, high level and research. It is also an essential foundation for cultivating talented and educated talents. How to provide students with quality humanities and art education, so that they can become the global technology leader in the future, is also a problem that our school has been exploring. To this end, the Ministry of Scientific Research takes the lead in the various liberal arts units of our school. It will hold the “Opportunities and Challenges: The World-class Science and Technology University's Liberal Arts Construction Summit Forum” at the Qilin Villa in Shenzhen on October 12-13, 2018. The experience and model of liberal arts construction in first-class science and engineering universities, focusing on the opportunities and challenges of the development of liberal arts colleges in the new environment, and exploring and grasping the trends and paths of humanities education in the colleges and universities in the future.
Invite teachers who are interested in the school to participate, and discuss the topics related to the construction of liberal arts in science and engineering universities with experts and scholars attending the conference.
Venue: Phoenix Pavilion, 2nd Floor, VIP Building, Qilin Villa.
